NATIONAL TRAVEL AND TOURISM WEEK DAY 5 – Norfolk International Airport

With the Norfolk International Airport celebrating Thank a Visitor Day, CVB’ers joined in the effort with other cities in the Coastal Virginia Region, and also thanked many of those who work so hard to give our visitors a great experience upon arrival and departure. They are the first thing many of our our visitors see upon arriving and the last thing they see before returning home, and they are definitely a part of the bigger picture of tourism in Virginia Beach. #NTTW16 #picturetourism.

Thanks to Liz, Lisa, Shantese, Scott and Jane for coming out and helping to make today the awesome day that it was!!

VBCC – The Calm Before the Storm

The restrooms are clean, the lobby is ready, thousands of chairs are set, and contractors are working on the finishing touches for the stage. What will you be doing this weekend?

Hall A nearly done

US Finals takes an army to support. VBCC Operations teams have worked hard to set this up, and will work even harder to maintain it over the weekend. The Event Service team has worked tirelessly all year to make this come off flawlessly, and they’ll all be here this weekend. The Business team will be here long hours as well selling tickets to everyone coming through the doors. These folks make the magic happen.

Thanks Sports Marketing for helping us grow and keep this group in Virginia Beach.
