VBTTF & VBHA road trip
The VBCVB and the VBTTF recently partnered with the VBHA and attended two spring college career and internship fairs. These events were held at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA and Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA the week of February 13th through February 17th. These fairs allowed the organizations involved to maximize time and minimize funds spent by meeting with hundreds of enthusiastic college students during the fairs. Students were informed about full time, part time and summer internship opportunities available in our hospitality industry.

Jamie Mitchell recently attended the Religious Conference Management Association (RCMA) Emerge Conference in Chicago, IL. The Virginia Beach CVB sponsored the Super Tuesday breakfast. This was the kickoff to a morning of planner workshops and a CSR opportunity open for all. She participated in the CSR and we made blankets for the homeless. Check it out.
