Updated airport information for visitors to Virginia Beach is attached. The route map includes new nonstop seasonal air service to Ft. Myers-Punta Gorda (Allegiant flights operate November 14 – April 12).

 

Allegiant, American, Delta, Frontier, Southwest and United offer nonstop flights to 31 major airports (includes seasonal service). The high level of international gateway access provides one-stop capability to most major cities worldwide. According to the FAA, Norfolk International Airport’s passenger activity is ranked in the top 13% of commercial service airports in the United States with over 3.6 million passengers served in 2018.

 

With eight on-site rental car companies, a dedicated airport shuttle service, taxi cabs and transportation network carriers (Uber and Lyft), ground transportation is provided to the entire area 24 hours a day. A variety of shops, restaurants and personal services are available to meet travelers’ needs.

Max Long and Claire Eder enjoyed their day representing the VBCC at the latest ILEA (International Live Events Association) meeting. This month’s meeting was held on the Virginia Elite, Spirit Cruises’ newest private yacht out of Norfolk, VA!

 

 

TEAM VA BEACH Hosted a yummy reception prior to the John Legend concert and we had approximately a dozen clients with us representing the US! Other shots show Sally and Michelle Jones of Intl Parking Institute who received her CAE certification at ASAE!

Sally Noona, Sherri Thadeus, myself, and hotel partners Colleen Briley of the Hilton and Mary Kelly of the new Marriott recently attended ASAE in Columbus, Ohio.

This event brings together association industry leaders from all over and it was a spectacular time in Columbus to meet with existing and prospective clients. Overall, we met with over 150+ professionals during our 2 day trade show, hosted a client engagement and enjoyed educational sessions throughout the conference.
