It’s National Volunteers Week and the Visitor Center wants to recognize our amazing volunteers – Anne Maher, Arlene Ingram, Regina Oswalt and Ed Salomonsky!
They are an important part of the VIC team! They are great ambassadors of Virginia Beach and always there to help us. We are very lucky to have these wonderful volunteers!! Thank you for your dedication and for all that you do for the Visitor Center and the City of Va Beach!!

Sunrise at the Virginia Beach Convention Center
There was a nice sunrise this morning at the Virginia Beach Convention Center for the start of another Covid-19 Vaccination Clinic day. I just wanted to share. As of yesterday, the City of Virginia Beach was projected to have administered 100,000 shots, with many of those coming through the Convention Center. 😊
Moose Legion #199
Thank you to the Moose Legion #199 and the Wyndham Oceanfront for hosting a successful 2021 Winter Celebration. Although postponed due to COVID-19 the event was recently held with over 200 people March 25-28, 2021.
