Reader’s Digest Chooses Virginia Beach
Virginia Beach has been included in a Reader’s Digest article (reach: 4M) titled, “The Best Weekend Getaways in Every State.” Below is the paragraph of Virginia Beach, which highlights the Cape Henry lighthouse, False Cape State Park and the Military Aviation Museum – and Town Center, noting it as the “downtown district.”
“The coast of Virginia offers plenty to do and beautiful beaches, to boot, in Virginia Beach. Climb to the top of Cape Henry Lighthouse, the fourth oldest lighthouse in the country, explore False Cape State Park, stroll the boardwalk, and get a history lesson at the Virginia Military Aviation Museum. Virginia Beach offers a choice of places to stay, including by the bustling oceanfront, along the quieter Chesapeake Bay, or in the Town Center downtown district.”
