Where were you born and where is your hometown?I was born in Elizabethtown, KY while my dad was stationed in Fort Knox. I grew up In Apex, NC, but moved to Virginia Beach in 1982, and I’ve been here ever since.

What is the best vacation you’ve been on?We went to Paris, France and Barcelona, Spain two years ago. I absolutely loved every minute of it.
What is your favorite thing to do in the wonderful City of Virginia Beach?I love renting ocean view beach houses in Sandbridge and relaxing. I also like visiting the farms down in the Pungo area of Virginia Beach and getting fresh grown produce.

Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us: I graduated from college (Norfolk State University) last year on my 49th It was a goal I had been wanting to achieve for a while.
What do you like to do for fun?Reading, spending time with my kids and grandson.
What is one thing you cannot resist?Fresh baked chocolate chip cookies.
What is on your bucket list?Take a vacation at an all-inclusive resort.
What is your hidden talent?It’s not really hidden, most people know that I am an awesome cook.
