Team Virginia Beach was in the house in Phoenix AZ!

 

 

Our Office Manager, Holly Coriell, is newly engaged! Holly and Wes met in high school while working at the marina and have now been together for 10 years, sharing a home with their fur baby, Wyatt.  We are so excited for Holly and her fiancé! Congratulations and best of luck to them both!

 

 

 

Wishing a very Happy Birthday to the lovely Beth Williamson! She is pictured with a card and balloons from her entire team!  We hope she enjoys some well-deserved time off to celebrate.

 

FYI –

• A contract for a sand replenishment project was awarded by the Army Corp of Engineers this past Friday.
• The goal of this project is to add protection to the seawall to avoid further erosion before hurricane season.
• The areas where the work will take place is the Resort Beach from 15^th St. – 70^th St. and all of Sandbridge Beach.
• Work is scheduled to start around June 15^th and will be performed around the clock until completion,  or in about six (6) weeks from the start date.
• Beaches will REMAIN OPEN; ingress and egress will be sectioned off for in the active work area and inconvenience should be minimal for beachgoers.
• MarComm is working with the city’s Central Communication Office on FAQ’S.

 

 

VBCC participated in the Annual Sensible Seafood Fest on 5/16 at the Virginia Aquarium.  We served delicious Stuffed James River Oysters featuring Baby Swiss Chard grown in VBCC’s own garden!

Sabrina, Sherri, Chef Desiree and Ahmard all worked our booth talking up VBCC to the guests!
