VBCC at Sensible Seafood Fest

 

VBCC participated in the Annual Sensible Seafood Fest on 5/16 at the Virginia Aquarium.  We served delicious Stuffed James River Oysters featuring Baby Swiss Chard grown in VBCC’s own garden!

Sabrina, Sherri, Chef Desiree and Ahmard all worked our booth talking up VBCC to the guests!

Jim Coggin and hotel partners recently completed a Tour Operator sales mission through WI/MO/IL. Sales Appointments with puppies are so much better.

VBCC Wins 2018 Virginia Green Travel Star Award

We’re really proud of Kimberlee for all of her efforts and leadership across the Commonwealth on all matters of sustainability.

VBCC wins 2018 Virginia Green Travel Star Award for their use of LEED® Arc and successful participation in CPower Energy Management programs.  The LEED Arc platform is used to maintain the Convention Center’s LEED Gold certification, while the CPower energy conservation programs reduced the Convention Center’s electricity bill by almost $15,000.  Kimberlee Dobbins attended the Virginia Green Travel Conference as a workshop speaker and accepted the Virginia Green Convention Center of the Year award on our behalf.
