CVB Supports PCMA Fundraiser

Todd Bertka and Teresa Diaz, supported by Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront partner Colleen Briley, represented Virginia Beach recently during PCMA’s Great Mid-West chapter’s (GMC) annual charity event in Chicago. This year’s fundraiser was a Bowl-a-thon to benefit several Illinois charities including Little Brother’s Friends of the Elderly and GMC’s student scholarship program. The GMC serves 1200 members from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. The event, which included a silent auction of items donated from the various chapter cities, was sold out weeks in advance and while final numbers are still being tallied, it appears to have been another very successful fundraiser for GMC.
