What division and position do you work for? I work for Distinctive Gourmet at the VBCC
How many years have you worked for the CVB? I have worked for DG for about a year and a half.
What is the best vacation you’ve been on? I went on a week-long Caribbean cruise to the Bahamas, Grand Cayman Islands, and Jamaica. I got to swim with dolphins!!
What is your favorite thing to do in the wonderful City of Virginia Beach? Taking my dog, Whyatt, to First Landing State Park.
What is your favorite quote? It does not matter how slowly you go, as long as you do not stop.
Do you have an office nickname? If so what is it? Crazy Dog Lady
Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us: People are always surprised to know I go hunting with my boyfriend. I’ve even helped him skin a deer. (eek!)
What do you like to do for fun? I like to run races and cook. I also like to go on hikes. I am a part of a hiking group called Her Hike Collective, where a group of girls meet up a couple of times a year to hike at new spots in Virginia.
What is one thing you cannot resist? White wine, cheese, and dogs.
What is on your bucket list? Go on the wine train through Napa Valley
What is your hidden talent? I am the best at organizing, it’s what I do! My friends also tell me I am a great gift-giver. Apparently, I have a “great sense of what people need or care about”.
